The Arts Co-Curriculum

Providing a diverse and vigorous co-curricular program.


Managed by highly qualified teachers and visiting specialists, Fairholme's co-curriculum program covers all aspects of The Arts and service activities.


All Â鶹ÊÓƵgirls are given the opportunity to explore their interests and passions in The Arts, extending from Music, Dance and Drama to Visual Arts, Debating and Public Speaking, as well as Sound and Lighting Technology.


Complementing our Arts curriculum subjects, this intensive and comprehensive co-curricular program leads to discipline and determination - valuable components of personal development.

Music

Opportunities include:

  • College orchestra and stage band
  • Instrumental and vocal ensembles
  • College and chamber choirs
  • Annual instrumental and choral music camps
  • City of Toowoomba Eisteddfod
  • Co-production musical (biennially)
  • Performance opportunities at College and community events/services, concerts, showcases and recitals
  • Interhouse choral competition
  • Music tuition in instrumental, music theory and music technology, musicianship, aural training, music craft and vocal tuition (Â鶹ÊÓƵSinging Studio)
